2021 NFL Draft Scouting Report: IDL Josiah Bronson

Josiah Bronson aligned as a defensive end in Washington’s odd front defense. He is a sufficient level athlete with regard to his body quickness and agility. In the run game, he has fairly limited effectiveness. However, he plays with good strength to disengage and get to the football. His ability to defend the run is ahead of his ability to rush the passer at this stage. In the passing game, he gives you very little as a pass rusher. He is not a dynamic pass rusher and relies on hustle and effort to get home.

Ideal Role: UDFA.

Scheme Fit: 4-3 defensive scheme.
